मुकेश अम्बानी ने प्राइम ऑफर का ऐलान किया :

मंगलवार को रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज ग्रुप के चेयरमैन मुकेश अम्बानी ने इस ऑफर का ऐलान किया, नये ऑफर के तहत, ग्राहकों को केवल 99 रूपये की फीस देनी होगी इसके भुगतान से ग्राहक जियो के नये ऑफर के मेम्बर बन जायेंगे.

नये ऑफर का नाम है प्राइम ऑफर इसके तहत 1 मार्च से 31 मार्च की अवधि के बीच में 99 रूपये का भुगतान करके मेम्बरशिप लेने वाले ग्राहकों को अगले एक साल तक यानी कि 31 मार्च 2018 तक हर महीने मात्र 303 रूपये का भुगतान करना होगा. जिसके बदले रिलायंस जियो अनलिमिटेड डाटा, वॉइस और मीडिया सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराएगा.

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन मुकेश अम्बानी ने जियो के ग्राहकों को धन्यवाद किया और अपने 100 मिलियन यूजर्स के साथ मिली उपलब्धियां बतायीं. उन्होंने बताया कि महज 170 दिन में जियो ने 100 मिलियन यूजर्स बनाकर रिकार्ड्स कायम किये हैं. जियो ने औसत रूप से हर एक मिनट में 7 ग्राहक जोड़े हैं.

जियो ने अबतक कुल 100 करोड़ जीबी इन्टरनेट डाटा मुफ्त में उपलब्ध कराया है, इस आंकड़े के साथ भारत दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा डाटा यूज़ करने वाला देश बन गया है. और डाटा का प्रयोग करने के हिसाब से दुनिया में पहले पायदान पर है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में केवल जियो के यूजर्स इतना मोबाइल डाटा इस्तेमाल करते हैं जितना पूरे अमेरिका में किया जाता है.
