Bad news for lovers of Pakistan, applied to the High Court to stop celebrating Valentine's Day
आज वेलेंटाइन डे है और पुरे विश्व में इसे धूमधाम से मनाया जा रहा है। विश्व के हर देश में आज के दिन प्रेमी अपनी प्रेमिकाओं से अपने प्रेम का इज़हार करेंगे। लेकिन विश्व में एक ऐसा भी देश है जहाँ के प्रेमियों को आज के दिन अपने प्रेम का इज़हार नहीं करने दिया जायेगा। आपको बता दें पाकिस्तान के प्रेमियों को आज के दिन काफी निराशा होने वाली है, यह दिन उनके लिए काफी बुरा होने वाला है। पाकिस्तान की इस्लामाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने आज 14 फ़रवरी को वेलेंटाइन डे मनाने पर रोक लगा दी है।

पाकिस्तान की इस्लामाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने यह फैसला एक केस की सुनवाई के दौरान लिया, कि आज के दिन वेलेंटाइन डे पाकिस्तान में नहीं मनाया जायेगा। इसके साथ ही हाईकोर्ट ने यह भी फैसला सुनाया है कि कोई भी मीडिया चाहे वह प्रिंट हो या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, वेलेंटाइन डे का प्रचार नहीं करेगा। आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी कि हाईकोर्ट ने यह फैसला एक व्यक्ति की दायर की गयी याचिका पर सुनाया है।

वेलेंटाइन डे है इस्लामिक शिक्षा के खिलाफ:
अब्दुल वाहिद नाम के एक शख्स ने यह याचिका दायर की थी कि प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया पर वेलेंटाइन डे का बहुत ज्यादा प्रचार किया जाता है, जो हमारी इस्लामिक शिक्षा के खिलाफ है। उसने कोर्ट से यह माँग की कि इसे तुरंत प्रभाव से बैन कर दिया जाना चाहिए। इस याचिका में यह बात भी की गयी थी कि सार्वजनिक जगहों पर वेलेंटाइन डे मनाने पर रोक लगा देनी चाहिए।
