पाकिस्तान पर नजर, सिंधु जल समझौते पर हुई अहम बैठक –
एक अंग्रेजी अख़बार के अनुसार पीएम मोदी के मुख्य सचिव निपेंद्र मिश्र ने सिंधु के जल को उपयोग करने के लिए बैठक की। इस बैठक में जम्मू और कश्मीर के हाइड्रो पावर प्रॉजेक्ट्स के काम में तेजी लाने और समझौते के तहत पाकिस्तान द्वारा नियंत्रित घाटी की पश्चिमी क्षेत्र की तीन नदियों सिंधु, झेलम और चिनाब के पानी को स्टोर करने के लिए इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को मजबूत बनाने जैसे जरूरी मुद्दों पर बातचीत की गई। आपको बता दें कि रावी, ब्यास और सतलुज जैसी नदियों से संबंधित प्रक्रिया में पंजाब की भागीदारी काफी अहम है। इसके लिए पंजाब और जम्मू-कश्मीर को साथ लाया गया है ताकि इस पूरी प्रक्रिया को तेज गति से आगे बढ़ाया जा सके। दोनों राज्यों से अपनी-अपनी ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट जल्द पेश करने के लिए कहा गया है।
