दरअसल एक 12 साल की लड़की ने डीआईजी को चिठ्ठी लिखकर उनसे मिलकर इच्छामृत्यु की माँग की है। उसने इसकी वजह अपने एक कंस मामा को बताया है। एक नाबालिग लड़की द्वारा इच्छामृत्यु की खबर सोशल मीडिया में आग की तरह फैल गयी है। यह मामला धार्मिक नगरी वाराणसी के पड़ोसी जिले चंदौली का है। इच्छामृत्यु की बात सामने आते ही वाराणसी के डीआईजी हरकत में आ गए और इस मामले की गहराई से जाँच के आदेश दे दिए हैं।

लड़की ने जो चिट्ठी डीआईजी को भेजी है उसमे लिखा है कि, “मेरी मम्मी को मेरे मामा ने गायब कर दिया है और पापा भी 10 महीने से जेल में हैं। हम तीन भाई-बहनों का कोई सहारा नहीं है, इसलिए मुझे इच्छामृत्यु दे दीजिये। जैसे ही यह चिठ्ठी सामने आयी, मीडिया ने भी इस मामले में दिलचस्पी लेना शुरू कर दिया है। ख़बरों के अनुसार लड़की का मामा ऑटो चालक है। लड़की अपने तीन भाई-बहनों के साथ अकेली रहती है। एक दिन उसका मामा उसकी मम्मी को फुसलाकर कहीं ले गया और वह आज तक वापस नहीं आयी।
